How the days work
- Day 1 is always Nadi. You land at Nadi International Airport and the island boat leaves Port Denarau at 8.45am, so the first night is on the mainland.
- The boat comes back in the early evening, too late for most flights home. The last night is on the mainland too.
- One island hop a day. The Yasawa Flyer runs the chain once a day each way, so each island move uses a morning or afternoon.
- Further north takes longer. The Mamanucas (South Sea Island) and Kuata are closest to Port Denarau. Manta country and the Blue Lagoon are further up the chain and need more nights to be worth the ride.
